Any idea or update on when the first builds will be released? I would love to jump in and start creating my own Champions soon.

Oh man.. This is an amazing plugin!
I'm currently making a let's play series for a couple of youtubers, and I won't release the project to the public till this plugin is released.
This is going to revolutionize the RPG mechanic for servers.
I'm looking forward to this, I'm definitly going to support / donate MythicMobs, and possible Mythic Champions aswell, not just because I can get the dev builds early, but because I love this idea, and want to invest in it!

I've been getting a lot of PMs about people wanting an update, so here we go... Champions is coming along nicely and is about 80% complete. It's almost as large as MythicMobs as this point and includes:
  • Player skills using a system 90% similar to MythicMobs, with all sorts of new mechanics that are player-centric
  • A full class system (as robust if not more so than SkillAPI) with multiple types of progression and multi-classing, backed by a MySQL database
  • Support for custom resources (such as mana/energy/rage/etc) that are backed by passive skills to make them as flexible as possible, and using the ActionBar to display custom resource bars.
  • A customizable menu GUI system for class selection, investing talent points in skills, and upgrading player attributes.
  • Its own built in Item Lore Stats type system that works directly with and can be modified by player profiles and skills
  • Custom items! Items can have skills with all the same triggers available to players and only work when equipped/held.
It's a very advanced plugin and I am happy with it so far, and am already using it on several large servers to great effect. Beta invites may go out soon, once I figure out how we plan to release it (premium status, licensing, or whatever)

Literally can't wait.
Really hope it comes out before next semester of uni :)

May as well be the most revolutionary plugin to hit spigot since... Well lets face it... Nothing is going to compare to this.

I'm ok with Champions being premium as long as MythicMobs remains free :) because i feel its a great plugin like Essentials, WorldEdit, etc. and champions is just that little extra addon to give players epic rpg experiences.

And perhaps the server I make custom mobs for gets one too lol. Cause if I try to give them my Beta Copy should I get one I think would be illegal lol

To say I'm looking forward to seeing Champions is an understatement.. I still have sooo much to learn about MythicMobs, I'm afraid that Champions might cause my brain to shut down!

Right now we are thinking Champions will be free for smaller servers, but will require a license for servers with over a certain # of players.

The server I make custom mobs for usually has around 20-30 players online on average and the max players the server can have is 90 (Unfortunately the server hasn't surpassed 60 players in a long time). Not sure if that is above that limit.

What will happen if someone with a small server obtains this plugin, then their server dramatically increases in size, possibly due to this plugin? Will you continue to support the server, or will their access to the plugin be revoked?
